A freind showed me this when i visited and, If I werent 2 hours away this would be a new breakfast spot for me! Fantastic service. food came out quickly and with zero issues, all the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the the wait time was non-existent Food was phenomenal. the ingredients were obviously high quality (the tomatoes were obviously fresh, the avocado was recently sliced, the works) drinks were great and decently sized, the burata was incredible. We didnt use this but the child play area seemed decently well kept so decent for kids.

I did not do much research prior to coming but was told Kerby Lane Cafe was an Austin staple, so I tried. I would compare this to a Dennys or Ihop in regards to service, experience, and quality, which is not bad but mid. I was hoping for an old school diner feel with just big fluffy pancakes, so that was my fault for not researching. We came on a Saturday around opening. You were greeted with an overpowering (artificial) maple smell like scensy or plug-in. I really enjoyed it because it set the mood for breakfast. It did cling to your clothes so when you leave you still smelled like it ..which again did not mind. If you're sensitive to smell, it could be an issue, though. The staff did not have name tags or any type of indicators that they worked for the establishment, which thought was mind-blowing. The place is extremely large and well laid out, so you're not on top of other diners. Service was not bad. They let you be but were attentive. We ordered a side of French toast, side of a blueberry pancake, biscuits and gravy, and Kerby Lane combo, so we could try the bacon, sausage, regular pancakes and eggs. I've been here a couple times in the past and the food is always exciting. I love that they have interesting offerings and the bar/coffee/juice menu is also something I look forward to. I will say that I have been more impressed with the breakfast items here than anything else but everything I have had here was good, some was just exceptional. David's Enchiladas were very tasty (love their queso). The Coconut Salmon Curry was also delish. Our server, Alejandro was fantastic, not only friendly but also informative. He let us know about his favorites and the promotions. I also really love that they have a seasonal menu that offers some outstanding fun options. On top of that the environment is so cute and feels so fresh and local!!

My homegirl Lexxi THE GOAT. Best server I know 😉. Service was immaculate and timing was tea! 10/10 would recommend. You come in to eat? Ask for my girl Lexxi. She finna give u all the tea on whats good to get 😛. Will fosho come back just for her service trust 🤞🏻🤞🏻

We visited in mid-January and had a great experience here. I had the breakfast tacos, which were very good, my wife had the Wagyu beef on cornbread with breakfast potatoes, and our son had the French toast with fruit, which was amazing. My wife’s dish was the standout for us. It looked incredible and tasted even better. Absolutely phenomenal. The staff were friendly, the service was great, and the atmosphere was really nice too. It just felt like a very easy, enjoyable place to sit down and have a really good meal. A great all-round experience and definitely 5 stars from us.
